nothing matters when it comes to love - your heart will never let you forget love - especially true love.

See, sometimes even though the age difference is the same, the level of maturity is way off. For example, the difference between someone 32 and someone 36 is not that big of deal. However the difference between someone 13 and 17 is, but they are both four years different. As you get older, the age difference becomes less ... ummm ... important. If you are in highschool, I think 2 years is too big of a difference, cause thats two grades apart. But if you're like in your 20's or above, no, I don't think 2 years is that big of deal at all.

Not at all. Who says the guy needs to be the older one all the time? Why break up just because of a 2 year age differrance? If you are guys are in love, it doesn't matter. I bet you anything, most people could care less about the girl being 2 years older. At least it's not 20 years older or younger...haa ha.

In my whole life (1/3 of a century) I have only dated one girl younger than myself. I even got detention in 6th grade for arguing with my "Values" teacher over her "Fact" that a man should be older than the woman. My wife is 5 years older than I am and it means even less as we get older. Since women live 5 years longer then men we plan on dying around the same time.
The two quirks are that men are usually less mature than their counterparts, hence the desire to date younger women, but if you got your hands on a mature one (or you are not yet mature yourself) go for it!
The other one is when it comes to career. I was still in college when we met, so compared to all of her friends we were financially behind, so she just got new friends.

my husband is 4 years older than me and i've dated guys that are anywhere from 2 years older to 15 years older, so i would have to say no age doesn't matter.

Nope. There is often an age difference. Traditionally it's been an older guy and younger girl, but these days no one cares.

I don't think it is a big deal. My wife is 1 year and 5 months older than me, and we do fine. I think the issue depends more on the maturity of the two parties.

Two years doesn't matter. My parents were seventeen years apart and granted they were both always young and energetic, they were the most loving couple I had ever seen. That holds true even today.
