Thus far, I see a lot of repeats, yet no one has what I have in mind. They're not bad though. ^_^

I can't speak for anyone else but my relationships have always been based on honesty and trust. With those two things in place, communication is much easier because with honesty comes openness, with trust comes contentment.

Any relationship requires work, but with the foundation in place, the rest is built the way both of you want it to be. When done with the above tools, a solid bond is established that bends and reshapes as the relationship grows. Problems reach solutions, hardship gains support and joy is compounded when two people are working together. Children within the union come into it able to be shaped into adults and with role models to hand over these important tools to them, a generation grows over and over again and the ability to continue the cycle strengthens.

You know its all been worth it when you can look back over 30 or 40 years and say "Yes, I'd do it all over again if I had to, with the very same person!" These tools also help you avoid the gut wrenching, physical confrontations or verbal abuse that can and does erupt when two people are not compatible. Open and honest relationships know when it just isn't working and aren't afraid to discuss whether to end it or not.

Good luck

I don't think there is just one thing that can sum up the most important factor of a relationship. Recently, I can say that understanding that a relationship takes work is important. I tend to be more of a shallow thinker....probably not a good thing.

Trust- Without trust the relationship can become sour and both individuals miserable- Think about it, if your boyfriend had no trust in you, will you be happy? Will you be able to have friends and go out w/out him? Will u be happy having him question every single thing you do and every single thing you say? ... In my opinion, trust and honesty goes hand in hand

Good chemistry is the most important thing. Without that, all the other stuff is pointless windowing dressing for a staid and unsatisfactory relationship.

compatability. People need to be able to get along and share themselves. Trust and love is great but it can fall apart if the poeple don't work together and enjoy life together
