To find out:
Take the wattage ratings of each and add them together -
Wattage rating for the AC should be on the data plate; what size light bulb (ie. 40 watt, 60 watt, 75 watt); wattage rating for the TV should also be on the data plate( where model/serial number is found).
If the sum is less that 1500 - 1600 watts, you might be ok. Note: the 1500-1600 figure should give you sufficient margin to account for surge when the AC cycles on/off.

More important than the Watt output is the AMPS needed to run the AC. It should be known or found on the unit.
I've used a 1500 watt with 4 outlets to run all the house lighting in a 2000 sq. ft. home in a hurricane, a radio, and my refrig. I suspect TV is less important than survival needs. No offense meant.
If this isn't storm prep stuff, then you may sacrifice some lighting if you absolutely have to have a TV. If it is storm related I still suggest the basics.

Check the wattage on the side plate.A 5200 btu works on an 110ac outlet (which is rated 15 amps but usualy on a 20amp breaker(#12agw wire) so it should work. But I would not put anything else on it since 2000 watts is probably not your running watts on the generator(make sure its not peak watts and 1400 running watts on the gen.)Just checked a 12000 BTU it was 1220Watts(11Amps at 115) So it should work...If that is Gen.running watts

You have not given enough information like the amperes on the AC unit, but since it is a small one 9only 5800 BTU it should be fine with the TV and the Lamp. I don't think you will exceed 75% of the total capacity of the Generator.

Add up the wattage of all the appliances and if the total is less than 2000, then the generator will handle it.

I was told it could handle just a refrigerator and a fan or lamp
Whatever you do keep the generator outside,Not in the house,a deadly mistake ! ! !
