Fair skin is beautiful! You should feel confident in your skin as it is...just use plenty of sunscreen! I'm not sure if you're asking how to get a tan or not, but unless you're albino you can get a tan in a tanning bed. It is not out of the question. You have to start your minutes REALLY low!! Like 2-3 minutes your first time and do that for 2-3 tanning sessions, then very slowly increase the time you're in the bed. ie: move up to 4 minutes for 2 sessions, then up to 5 for 2 sessions...move up the minutes as long as you aren't pink from your last tan. A tan is your bodies natural deffense against the sun. Everyone can get a tan. But honestly I think fair skin is so pretty, and healthy looking. I would look after your skin the best you can now ;)

Put the sunscreen on 20 mins before you go outside and use an SPF of 30. Also, don't stay out all day - or avoid the sun during the high point of the day 12n-3pm. If you can't avoid it, reapply the sunscreen every hour.

I burn easily too just did yesterday. Stay in the water and wear strong sunscreen if you don't want to tan. If you like to tan wear sunscreen and do 20 min a side and get in the water every so often.

Go to the pharmacy and look for an over-the counter topical anaesthetic spray. I don't remember the particular name or brand, but it is probably by the anti-itch creams. I have used it in the past, and it works miracles. If you can't find that, aloe can work. Get just plain aloe, though, not a lotion with a scent.

Get an aloe plant and brake off a leaf and use straight aloe. A HOT shower work too, but it has to be really hot like almost scolding that way it takes all the sting out. Other than that lots of aloe and lotion!!!

Hopping in a bath or pool is a good temporary fix. Just make sure the water isn't too warm. Oh and some of those creams you can get... they just make it worse. Trust me on this, I got nuked once and I'm whiter that wonder bread.
