I really like this boy, and I want to keep talking to him over the summer, but it is difficult to keep in touch, because it's so awkward to call. But I really like him and I want to remain friends. Please help, fellow Yahoo! peeps!

If you live by taking chances, this is your chance to live. If you two are friends, it's perfectly acceptable to call. You might even want to invite him out with you and some friends to relieve the pressure of it just being you and him--but also be able to say that you're that much closer to each other! So call him up and invite him out if you'd like. The next time you call (or he calls), it could be a whole lot easier to do.

Awkwardness, Anxiety, Adversity, Afraid; do you want to be Alone!
Do whatever you have to do to get in touch and you won't regret it. As a matter, of fact Iv'e been there and done that. And it was the best thing i ever did.

if your good friends call him. if you dont know him very well or have never done anything outside school/work e-mail him and do something together. take it slowly or else he will get scared and run off or drop as a friend. we guys are real jerks. lol. ok ignore the "guys are jerks part".

Get over your akwardness and just call him. If he is that important, then you'll find a way. I think you only have a passing interest and it shows in that you are having to ask us instead of finding a way.
