There is only 1 type of aluminum. It's an element. But, it gets mixed with other metals like iron, copper, bronze,...to make alloys for different hardnesses and corrosive properties.

Two of the more common types of aluminum alloys are 7075 and 6063. These numbers represent the types and amounts of other metals in the alloy mixture. These numbers are followed by a "T" and another one digit number (T6 for example) that tells it's heat treated hardness. 7075T6 is an alloy used in a lot of military aircraft and is a very hard alloy that resisits bending. 6063T0 is very soft and plyable because it is not heat treated.

Aluminum is an element. There is only one "type" of aluminum. If you are referring to potential oxidation states of aluminum, however, they are 0 (the pure element) and +3 (in combined forms)
