NFL coaches and NCAA basketball coaches don't seem to require the same level of security, so what's up with the state troopers flanking college football coaches?

I think that it has to do with the fact that there are alot more fans at a college football game and more tailgating goes on. So the fans get a little roudier.

You'd be suprised the doofuses that would love to punch the lights out on the coach of the opposing team... especially after they got beat by them.
