My husband downloaded firefox. When I went to install an add-on, everything in Bookmarks disappeared. I prefer to use something I'm know but can't find the original yahoo browser I had before.

regular yahoo doesnt have any browser ...this is just plainly a website...but you have options...there are a lot of browsers to use like internet explorer which is the default browser for pc and safari browser for macintosh...and there are still a lot of browsers also....now if you want to have a yahoo browser then you could subscribe to SBC yahoo DSL which is now known as sbc-at&t... they do have a yahoo browser which looks like a rocket ship icon but you cant download this in any website unless you do have an account with them..actually they name this as the sbc yahoo browser

There is a preview version of IE7 optimized for Yahoo available at the link below. I am not sure that is what you are talking about, but it is worth a look.

Or click on tools, select Internet options, than in the homepage box type in Yahoo.com

I did a search on yahoo.. there seems to be no yahoo's browser.. maybe its gone?

Yahoo doesn't have one, think your are talking about the Mircosoft internet explorer. Do reset it as your defaut follow the instructions in this link should do it. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Setting_Your_Default_Browser#Setting_default_browser_manually
