My Sister and I are one year and one day apart and I always felt cheated out of "one on one time" with my parents...I think four years is long enough, your daughter will be old enough to be a Mommy's helper, so she won't feel left out, there's bound to be a little bit of jealousy, but that just goes with sibling rivalry....try not to have their birthdays end up in the same month, each child likes to have him or her special day without sharing it with a sibling.....

my sister and i are 2 years apart and my bday is 3-2 and hers is 3-21 she is older but my kids are around 2 years a part there birthdays are like 3 to 4 month apart so it would be a good time to have another baby and if there birthdays are close together than it wont matter just 2 cakes close together

In my opinion it is time to start trying. My 1st 2 were 15 months apart, hard at first, now they are teens and its great! I waited to have my 3rd when my middle was 4. Its hard having teens and an 11 year old, their interests are so different. Planning a family vacation is tough. My kids birthdays are spread out thru the year. I have a Spring. Summer and Fall. I like them to be spread out. You can focus more time on their day. My daughter, middle, we go to a concert every year, my oldest son, just likes money and dinner, my youngest likes to have a party. I like to be able to plan something nice for each one and have time to do that.

I like one successive month apart for birthdays. Just accept whatever happens, but don't plan for a late December birthday. It sucks really bad to be a Christmas baby. No one ever can come over for the party because of going to see relatives for the holidays.

My birthday is exactly a week before my sis. I'm nov. 18 and she's nov. 25. It's not too bad now but when we were kids, we had to share a birthday party. That was really crappy. Plus it was always the saturday after mine so I had to wait but she got her presents early. If u do have them around the same time, don't do this to the one who has the earlier birthday.

It is hard financially to have their birthdays close together. Also, they will be sharing almost everything for their entire childhood; it wouldn't be fair to make them share their birthdays too.
If your body is ready for another pregnancy, it may be best to do it soon, before you give away all of the "baby stuff".

If you can , space the birtdays out 3 months or so .If you have them to close , you will be tempted to have 1 party for both when they get older 10-13 yrs of age.( I know I am tempted)
I have 3 kids.All 3 yrs apart.PERFECT!
Try now.They are best friends.

Months in between birthdays to reduce sudden spending and jealousy; at least 48 months between so you don't have two kids in college at the same time. It will be expensive. Also, no more than two kids if daddy isn't around.

Girl you think too much for the wrong things. I would say now is the time to have your second kid. I can understand that. But, C'mon, Birthday is the last thing you want to think about now! Think about their future and start saving for their school and college. That is more practical.

You don't have to have another child. It would be better for the world if you made you daughter a healthy child and gave her all the advantages. World population is growing so fast she'll have a better world if people only have one child.
