As a make up artist the best thing to do is go natural so here are some steps:

This system of applying makeup for a natural look is fast and easy when you get the hang of it.

Steps:

1. Understand that a 'natural' look is one that uses colors that are right for your skin tone. How much you use, and where, depends on your personal style.

2. Make sure your concealer is yellow in tone since it mutes imperfections without adding color, giving your skin a natural look.

3. Apply foundation that matches your skin tone. The right foundation will seem to disappear on your face. If you are African-American, it's a good idea to have light, medium and dark shades of your foundation to allow for different gradations of color on different parts of your face.

4. Apply eye makeup in earthy tones'beige, brown, gold or plum for shadows and brown and charcoal gray for liner and mascara. Skip liner or shadow entirely if you want to keep makeup light.

5. Choose a blush color that is close to the color of your cheeks after you've exercised.

Tips:

Choose brighter or darker tones for a stronger, more made-up look.

Intensify your natural makeup for evening. Instead of brown, for example, go for charcoal around the eyes. 'Pop' blush with a brighter color over your usual one. Make lips brighter, darker or more shimmery.

Bring out your brown eyes with expertly coordinated shadows, soft pencil liner and lengthening mascara.

Brown shades enhance your eye color- lavenders make it pop for a rich, intensified brown!

Play up your brown eyes with coordinated shadows, liquid liner and volumizing mascara.
Chocolate shades enhance your eye color— grapes make it pop for your boldest brown yet!

Lipstick

When picking a lip color, there are a few things to take into consideration. First and foremost, what are your color preferences? If you like browns, try something in that family. Just because you have a certain coloring or skin color, don’t limit yourself to one color. If someone tells you that you look great in red lipstick, but you happen to hate the color red, don’t just wear it because someone told you to. At the same time, if you have very fair skin, you don’t necessarily have to stick to light colors. Darker colors can look very striking on light skin tones. The reverse is also true. Darker skin tones can pull off light lip colors, so don’t just go with dark or bright lips because you think that’s all you can wear.

Hope that helps.

I usually base my color eyeshadows on what color clothes I'm wearing. But if you don't want to do that then I suggest use the summer colors, pinks or purples or browns. Pick three eyeshadows; one light for a base, 2nd med. shade, and 3rd dark shade. Then use the lightest one all over the eye, the 2nd goes on the lid, and the 3rd goes in the crease and corner of the eye and blend them. Also for nights - wear eyeliner, it helps accent the eye and if you have small eyes put the liner half way on the top and bottom of the eye (putting on the top half way makes you look like you have bigger eyes). If you have big eyes you can go all the way on the top, but still half on bottom of the eye.
Lipstick - if you're wearing pinky eyeshadows then a pinky lipstick, if you're wearing browny eyeshadows then a browny lipstick. And be sure to wear a shimmery gloss. Gloss, I find always seems to bring more attention to the mouth and seeing as you have a small mouth that will probably work out good.
I just did my sister's makeup for her prom, she has auburn hair and brown eyes and she wore pink. So I put pinks and purples on her eyes, grey eyeliner, soft pink lipstick, with a gloss and a pinky blush. She looked great. Try it out.

Cover Girl puts out a tinted moisturizer in varying tones. This tinted moisturizer leaves you with a moist, glowing complexion, without looking like you are really 'made up'. Quick and easy for anyone. A little blush to bring out the color, lip shade to go with the color of dress, with matching lip liner. No heavy eye makeup. Just enough to enhance your natural features, not looking like you have make up on.

Go to a mall near you, and head to a makeup counter, if you have a regular brand that you prefer, great, if not, try a new one, and ask them to show you how to apply makeup for a wedding. They usually do it for free.

Take your Avatar picture with you to the make up counter of JC Penny and tell them to show you how to repeat the look with an emphasis on an evening wedding.

Use a light brown lip liner on your lips. Fill your lips in with a semi color lip gloss. You can use eye shadow, but stick with warm colors to match your eyes. No blush what so ever!

you could use two looks, either dark eyes pale mouth or dark mouth plain eyes, if it is in the evening try thae dark mouth but pale eyes combo, olive skin and redish hair call for dark brown eye liner delicately line your eyes and smudge with a felt tip brush, dust plum or mauve blush in your cheeks, and about your lips try using a darker reddish plum in your lips with just a little gloss in the center of your lips, remember don't use a vampirella dark lipstick but try one that flatters your olive skin complexion, I suggest estee lauder plumwood or maybelline roseberry or cranberry cream.
