Has anyone ever been on a Carnival Cruise? The ship I am inquiring about is the ELATION.?

I heard the food was bad and some say it was good. The food is my main concern. I love to eat. Who wants to go on a cruise if the food is not good. LOL!!

The Elation is one of Carnivals nicer ships. I'm not a big fan of Carnival, but I think the Elation is OK. The food is better than on some of the other ships as well. However, if you are going mainly for the food, Carnival is not one of the best for the better, nicer food. You may consider doing another line. But overall, I think you will enjoy the Elation.

My husband and went on the Ecstasy. It is a carnival ship. We had a blast! The food was great and plenty of it. We would order like three things at a time off the room service menu and just pick at each item. Food is included in your cruise so eat up and enjoy. I would recommend a carnival cruise to anyone.

Be very careful on any cruise ship! Rape is a very big problem aboard almost every cruise ship; often done by crew members, but not always. They prey on younger girls. Robbery is also a big problem. If someone is murdered they destroy any and all evidence and will not allow forensic teams aboard to investigate.

If you should fall overboard, the ship WILL NOT stop and search or try to get you back aboard! They will leave you. Should you miss ship for any reason in a port that is tough. they will not help you get home or to the next port.

Any delays or bad publicity is not in their best interests for departures, arrivals, or cruising time. All they want is your money.

In defense of the cruise lines, I am sure that at least 50% of the people on the cruise are safe and have a good trip.
