Almost any paper will work fine. The brighter the paper the better it will look. Avoid flimsy paper (need a weight of at least 20 lbs, 24 is better) and you may have paper jams with recycled paper.

Any photocopier paper will work on your laser printer.
I recommend that you buy paper that has a whiteness rating of 90 or higher.

looks between PCL5 and 6, they dropped the "instruction manual duplex" option, perhaps for the justifications you suggested. i might propose basically printing pages manually, forget "duplexing" ideas. What you do is print extraordinary pages first, go with pages to print like a million,3,5,7,9 Print those, turn the stack over, and print pages 10,8,6,4,2. Repeat for final 40 5 pages. often times, Adobe Reader has a print option called "Subset" (basically decrease than print variety), the place you could go with all extraordinary pages or all even pages. It additionally provides the choice to "opposite pages" for the opposite order for the decrease back pages - attempt it... Do an consumer-friendly try with approximately 4 pages first, to make particular you get the flipping over surprising.
