Consult Travel Special pull out in almost all the major dailies on Thursday or weekends. Plenty of competitive offers are there on major international carriers. Speak to a few of them and pick the cheapest deal.

Go to a Travel Agent.
They my charge an additional fee of $25 - $30 when you book it(not to get a price for you) but they have access to wholesale prices.
Much better than internet prices for international travel.
Good Luck

I'd look into Kyrgyz Air or Uzbek Air. Hard to believe but those former soviet countries have decent planes for their international flights. I got a very cheap (US)$200 flight to Delhi once from Bishkek Kyrgyzstan.
