Its about time someone came out and said this K-Dog! I had a severe paper cut the other day and some black guy who said he was shot by another gang member came in and they just took him instead of me! I felt racially profiled and gay at the time! I wanted a bandaid and they gave the chocolate man a free pass just because he was hanging out in the wrong neighborhood! We need a law - First Come, First Serve, Everywhere. I felt like a pussy and gay when all I wanted was Neosporen. That black guy did not even survive! He would have died anyway on the back of the line! Hope this helps pussy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well if someone is shot or in a serious car accident, or having a heart attack or whaterver the situation they are put before you beacuse they need more medical attention then you, Life threating situations should be adressed first. Yes the wait at hospitals suck sometime, but I know if it was me or a family member in serious condition which is life threatining, damn right they deserve the attantion first. Someone with a broken arm, leg or whatever, can wait. I have waited. So first come first serve will not work at a hospital.

I have one word for you... triage. What that means is that whoever is sickest comes first. You could be in the waiting room for 2 hours with a headache and somebody comes in with a severed finger, he/she will get treated first because their injury is worse than your headache. Its a matter of priorities.

One other thing, EVERYBODY thinks that their problem is the worst. Well, the truth of the matter is that there are certain priorities that may not be evident to a casual observer. You and somebody else walk in at the same time, you have a chopped off finger, and you can't see anything wrong with them and they go first. What gives? Well, maybe they're having chest pain and a heart attack. Once again, the truth hurts, you can live without a finger, they can't live without a heart. I'm sure somebody will see to your finger, but it may take an hour or so, but you have to stop a heart attack as soon as you can.
Don't like waiting? Go to another country where they wouldn't even bother with your puny finger. You're lucky to be here in America.

Are you kidding me? Have you ever been in the emergency room right after a serious car accident or shooting? Have you ever seen the horrific injuries some people come in with? Are you that heartless, or just an a**hole? If you're looking for a band-aid, or you have a cold, you should just sit your a** down and be happy waiting for your turn. At least you have the opportunity to go to a hospital to get treated!

Well, I was recently in a car wreck and my face was busted open and they rushed me to the ER, upon getting there...they made me wait in the waiting room..knowing I was pregnant and they let this lady go ahead of me that was chatting away on her cell phone. She seemed perfectly fine to me. Me and my baby were in danger and they made me wait in the waiting room with blood gushing from my face and not caring about my unborn child.

I think certain circumstances allow you to cut in line.

Because there are real medical emergencies and not. I don't believe in people crowding up emergency room's for minor injuries. It's plain dumb.
