1st part of question already answered above.

In response to the video card under $100 question. It depends on the use for the card, but a good deal is the Geforce 6600 256MB which can be found for about $85-95. Check Newegg.com

I like David S' answer: it's a video processor built onto a computer's motherboard. The reason you'd CARE is that when they are integrated with the motherboard, they usually are sharing (using) memory/processing power that would have been used by other programs. Having a separate card allows that card to do all of that processing, and the motherboard does the processing for your programs (which is why you bought it).

An integrated Video card is a video processor built onto a computer's motherboard. Many video processors (the most powerful) are on a video card in one of your computers slots.

It means that is has a basic graphics card. If you plan on video editing, gaming etc. then you don't want the on-board(integrated) video card. If your use for this computer is just email, photos, the Internet and word processing, then it is OK.

It is a video card that is included IN the mainboard. Thus, you can't change it. But it is generaly possible to add a videocard.

If you are not a gamer, it will certinly do all the job.
