My tattoo was removed with two laser treatment, and I possibly could have used a third.

Yes it hurts. For about $200 each session, a thin protective membrane is applied to your tattooed area before you get zapped with a laser along the lines of your tattoo. Afterward, it feels like a burn for about a week.

What it does, however, really works. The cells that are holding the ink break apart, release the ink, and the tattoo goes away. I don't have any scars from having done this.

Even though there is some pain, I highly recommend it if you want your old ink gone.

Takes a long time, is very expensive and is very painful! You are better off just getting a coverup tattoo for those little mistakes...I'm currently trying to design a cover up.

I was planning to get it done but found out it was going to cost me close to $1100.00. I have a dragon on my ankle and it would have taken 9 treatments. Too costly for me...better off using makeup. Heard that it felt like getting a tattoo again. I am using IGIA makeup and concealer to cover mine up and it works great.
