I'm moving from SC to Miami, FL but I won't be taking any furnitutre just a lot of boxes and a couple of large storage containers. It's too much for my SUV but not enough for one of those big tractor trailer long distance movers. Any suggestions?

With an SUV you should be able to tow a trailer. U haul has one way rentals. If you can not fit the stuff into a trailer and your SUV, you could rent a truck and a vehicle trailer and tow your SUV behind the rental truck.

Depending on the amount of stuff that you have that will not fit into the SUV, you may consider shipping some boxes with UPS or FexEx Ground, or mailing them Parcel post!

I used ABF (or ABH?) freight. They let you pack your stuff in a truck, charge you for the lenght of the truck you use, and transport it for you. It took about two weeks for my stuff to get from Las Vegas to Cleveland, and cost me less than 1K.

depends on how far you are moving it. you can rent a u haul for cross country, send it by fed ex if they are in boxes and going over sea's, you can send it by ups if it is local or cross country.
