I went to Selfridges but the hello kitty products cost a bomb. But the majority of the products are actually made in China, would they be cheaper there? How much would the hardback suitcase cost? What are the price ranges of products in general there?

Thanks

everything in china is cheaper. i went there last year and bought a HK phone charm for my cousin for less than 50 cents. I saw tin pencil cases for around 2 bucks. And this before negotiating-you can get everything there for half price if you negotiate.

Not only are they cheaper in China, they are also cheaper in South Korea, where almost any kid thing with a logo is cheaper. Logo's are all the rage here, and everything has something on it. There are also Hello Kitty things for adults as well as children here.
