The Walk of Fame _is_ on the sidewalks of Hollywood Boulevard (both sides), but it is also on Vine Street. (The majority of the stars are on Hollywood Blvd, but some of the more notable stars from Hollywood's Golden Age are on Vine, as well as a number of big music stars in front of the Capitol Records Building, on Vine.) Today, the heart of modern Hollywood has shifted west from Hollywood & Vine to Hollywood & Highland, where you'll find, among other things, Grauman's Chinese Theatre, Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, the El Capitan theatre, the Kodak Theatre (where the Oscars are held) and the Hollywood & Highland center. The Walk of Fame runs past all of them.

Of course you probably do not remember any of those celebrities for they usually are before most people who use Yahoo Answers time.
