she moves leaves a letter to the new owner to forward her mail,,,, keanu moves in gets the letter but it is 2 years before, she is having lunch with her mother and a guy is hit by a car or bus and dies,,, they start to leave letters to each other ,,, they fall in love,,,,, low and behold the person that died in her arms was him,,, they had stopped talking cause she thought he stood her up when they made a date,,,, 2 years.... she runs to the mail box to tell him not to go there or he will die,,,, and writes to show up at the lake house and ,.... they are together
