You need to take classes in high school that will prepare you for college since you'll have to go to college and law school. If there are classes recommended for college prep, take them.

Hey there. Good for you. First, and probably most important, take all of the English and composition classes you can. The more you read, the more you write, the better you will be in law school.
Take your American history and government classes seriously. Read outside of the textbooks as to how lives were effected by the historical events. What historical things significantly effect you? Pursue them.
Next, take some public speaking classes. You'll need those in life. The more practice, the better.
Perhaps just as important. Start watching the news, C-Span, and get informed about current events.
Good luck to you!

You can't go into law just out of high school. You need four years of college, then three years of
law school. You will need to maintain an excellent Grade Point Average, and a high LSAT score (Law School Aptitude Test)
In high school, take a lot of English and Writing courses. Also history--World history and US history and European history.
An elective in Debate, or Acting, would not hurt.
This will all be part of a college-prep high school cirriculum.
It would not hurt to study Latin as your foreign language. The Law still uses a lot of Latin phrases.

going to law school my self and pre-law. there was nothing in high school that would get you in except grades. you could talk to your local bar association and your school to start a law club. its been done before in some schools. anyone with a degree can get into law school but you have to have great grades and depending on the school get refered in by a known firm. instead of the homeroon time, use it to set up a law club in your school. good luck.

I would worry about that in college. Choose a college that will give you the best pre-law education possible. They will guide you toward the classes that you need.
