new york city vs los angeles which is better which is worst? WHY?

Los Angeles is pretty fast paced and the freeways are super crowded just like the streets in New York. Crime I would say is probably about the same although a friend of mine who is a truck driver who drives every week to New York says that crime is alot worse in New York. He has seen people jack a semi where as in L.A. the most the thugs jack are cars. New York is mostly apartments and L.A. is mostly homes but of course there are plenty of apartments. People in L.A. are more laid back and not so much business minded. The weather cant be beat. New York has nothing on L.A. when it comes to the weather. I personally live in San DIego. California is like summer and spring all year. The only way you will see snow is if you want to see it and go to the mountains. New York has a so called beach but I dont think it is anywhere near a California beach considering it is two different oceans. If you like the hussle and bussle and never really getting to know your neighbors and like freezing during the winter then New York but if you like tan bodies on the beach with not much on and having neighbors that you know like family and look at for you then L.A. is the place. ALthough to be perfectly honest San DIego is better. Hope I filled you in on what you might of wanted to know.
