Here's a creative, low cost solution for you: Go to the makeup counter of a department store (macy's, nordstroms, bloomies, sakes, etc)... Chit chat with those girls and ask for some advice. Just make sure you go during non-peak times. Then, ask them how they got started... Some went to cosmetology school... other's may have taken classes at the local JC and others may have contacted the make up companies directly for inquiring about training...
