I think the female anatomy is more aesthetically pleasing than the male. Men are all angular and lanky and no matter how straight a girl is, a package really isnt that pretty to look at. Women look more natural, curved and lean and soft.
From an artistic view, i prefer women to men, its easier to achieve their likeness with any material, and it always looks appealing.
From a sexual view point, i prefer men, because being a woman, theres just something about a person of similar size who's twice as strong and muscular. The thought of all that power, and yet still so careful.... so appealing.

Not necessarily. Beauty is defined by symmetry. The more symmetrical the features and makeup of the facial structure, the more "beautiful or aestetically pleasing to the eye" a person will appear.
With that being said, both men and women have the potential to be equally "beautiful". I've seen many a male model whose beauty was breathtaking. I mean, the guy literally was too damn pretty!
So to answer your question, it all depends on symmetry and if some scientist discovers that there are more symmetrical women than men then so be it.

I guess all depends on what beauty means or how is interpreted by each of us.
Beauty is an innate and emotional perception of life's affirmative aspects — vitality, health, fertility, happiness, and goodness — within objects in the perceived world. In its most profound sense, the beauty engenders a sense of positive reflection on the meaning of one's own being within nature. Beauty involves cognition of objects as having a balance and harmony with nature, which elicits in the viewer a sense and experience of attraction, affection, and pleasure. An "object of beauty" is anything in the perceived world which reveals a personally meaningful aspect of "natural beauty".
Theories of beauty:
Beauty as a quantifiable and measurable attribute places upon the trained and educated viewer a great deal of responsibility to tolerate defect. Thus, beauty is in the eye of the beholder only so far as the beholder tolerates defect. It is indeed subjective but in relation to one's intelligence and understanding.
A common theory says that beauty is the appearance of things and people that are good. This has many supporting examples. Most people judge physically attractive human beings to be good, both physically and on deeper levels. The phrase "beauty is in the eye of the beholder," however, suggests that beauty is wholly subjective.
According to an ancient Indian definition, the beautiful is that which from moment to moment is always new. That is to say, it removes the mind from the world in which things grow old. But considering that the visual system allows us to see by extracting the stable, rather than changing, features of the environment on a momentary basis, this ancient definition seems hard to support.
In the 1990 study by Langlois & Roggmann it was found that an extremely average face was considered the most attractive by the study group. A composite face (one of both sexes) was generated by combining all of the most common features from a group of photographs. The result was a face devoid of any irregularities, and especially asymetrical features. It was suggested that the features represented may indicate a lack of genetic variation, promoting an indication of a particularly desirable mate. Interestingly, in the same study, combining racial features from ethnic groups in creating a meta-average composite face produced much the same results.
So are women generally more beautiful then men?
I hope I gave you enough material to make your own decision.!!!

I think so, but then there's different kinds of beauty and one could be called handsome for a woman too, or pretty boy for the guy. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all. :)) and I agree with Poppy, beauty comes from within, and if a male or female has both then I say good on them.

I have seen a lot of beautiful women, and not so many beautiful men, so I would have to say yes.
As far as personalities go, I would have to say that men have more beautiful personalities than women.

there are two types of beauty, inside and out. it is far better to have inner beauty than outer beauty. the outside will change with time but the inside will always remain the same.
