It is much easier to get grant money or scholarship money if you are on your own and not a dependant of your parents. At 22 that is a possibility. Check with the financial aid office of the college you wish to attend. Good luck.

I suggest to try to look online for colleges that have scholarship programs. It's not easy to get one though unless your grades are really good.

There are books available that list every scholarship out there. Some are very specific in their requirements, others very general.
