yes... there is actually a cosmetic that is made for this.. its called dermablend. Its used to cover tattoos, scars, bruises, etc. You can find it at high end department stores or Ulta. They will be able to match your skin tone exactly and this stuff is waterproof as well so if you wear it to the beach or pool it will not come off. Its a little on the expensive side but if it bothers you that much i would say its worth the money.
while you are using the Dermablend you could use Mederma... its a scar treatment that gradually fades them away. You will have to use this for about 3 months depending on the sevarity and length that you have had the scars.
Hope this helps!

I have used several types of makeup to hide scars. Some work better than others, but the waterproof/water resistant types seem to stay the longest for me.
I would not put much on bruises, however.. unless your doctor clears the item.. Bruises need to be monitored more than scars, to ensure nothing is changing drastically... just to make sure nothing more is going on.
Cocoa butter is actually wonderful for making scars a little less angry looking as well.
Best of luck!

As far as makeup, I would think it would be okay to put in on your legs because your face is more sensitive than your legs. There is a coca butter cream/lotion that can help you with scarring. Also I am sure that a doctoe could asist you with medication too.
I would ;ike to advise you to be yourself. If your scarring or bruising is who you are, do not hide it, Embrace it. I have found this out in my life and age 42. Wish I had this advice earlier in life cause it sure would have made it a lot easier.

Yeah, it is perfectly safe. i do it all the time. Sally Hansen makes this great stuff called airbrush in a can. It works wonders. And it is fairly inexpensive, and available at WalMart or any drugstore and comes in a variety of different skin tones. Good luck! By the way, it is formulated to not come off when you sweat, and it comes in different kinds for legs, arms, face etc.

Oh, for sure. There is special make up on the market for covering flaws on any part of your body. Hopefully, your scars and bruises were from accidental falls, and not inflicted by someone....

Clairol has a wide array to match many skin tones. I recommend the liquid cover up. I have scarring on my face, and it works wonders.

There is some kind of make up that is specifically for your legs and arms. It was made for older ladies who have spider veins. I'm sure it would help. Sorry I don't know the name of it but if youll go to a make up counter or a drug store they will probably be able to help you.
