~Are you sure that's all it is? Maybe he's been thinking about it for along time and this is just an excuse. Actually, I hate to say it, but that is probably the case. I think that is a silly reason... and might be just icing on the cake. Marriage is important and I suggest counseling. Divorce because of yelling... get real. That is so silly.~

If this was a one time deal I would give him his walking papers and find me a real man and not a boy. If this was a on going thing then the person needs to learn other ways to communicate other than yelling and the husband should be the one making this suggestion.

Why is the woman yelling? If one person is yelling on a regular basis then soemthing is wrong. Why is she so angy? Perhaps its the constant anger and negitivity which produces drama he is really divoricng. Sounds like a communication issue and they should get counseling before divorcing.

I guess it depends on why your yelling. Is this a one time thing..or does it happen all the time? Is he really tired of getting yelled at...or is he looking for an excuse to get out of the marriage?..there could be many reasons that led up to this and maybe you should try to sit down and talk it out. Maybe you both need to compremise a little.

Yes. Some arrogant, domineering Godless "Christian" men have perverted the word "submit" in the Bible. The Bible tells husbands to submit to their husbands, too. Husbands are to love their wives as Christ loved the church and died as a substitute for the church. God never said husbands were to be a father figure to their wives. They are to be equal partners putting the welfare of each other as the highest priority. They are to serve God and help each other and use their God given talents for Him and for each other and their families. God said people who lord over others were not godly. Those who were the servants of others where the greatest in His kingdom. What woman wants to be degraded and married to a domineering authoritarian condescending father figure? Would that make her feel loved or want to give love in return? No. When God says to submit to your husband it means he is your greatest priority after your relationship to God. These kinds of people are misogynists and use religion as an excuse.
