If it's a conservatory, I imagine it will get a lot of foot traffic so you will want to get a highly durable carpet. I would recommend using a short strand carpet. A long strand carpet will begin to look matted after a bunch of foot traffic. I would also recommend a darker color such as charcoal grey that will cover up stains and dirt more easily. Many apartment complexes are going to that color of carpet for that reason.

I would get industrial grade carpeting. They use it in office buildings that get very high traffic. It lasts longer, has awesome designs and resists wear and tear as well as stains. It's a little more expensive but it will save you money in the long run. Good Luck!!

Depends on if the conservatory has access to outside (if so, may want something that is better against dirt and such), how much foot traffic is on it, etc.
