I myself like both, but Green Day definately overpowers Blink 182 in my mind!!!!!! Explain in your answer why you like the band you picked and why you don't like the band you didn't pick. 10 points goes to the answer that best matches my question.

Green Day - they have been rocking it steady for a long time. I like Blink 182 but they are not consistent and really went down hill until Meet the Barkers came out to bring them back to light but I could name at least 10 songs by Green Day of the top of my head and I could not name one without hearing Blink's stuff.

Green Day, especially their older albums like Nimrod, I love the song Platypus (I hate you). Green day in my mind sounds so much better than blink 182 and green day pretty much brought back the genre of punk. I think that blink 182 are posers and their music isn't that great. Plus I hate most of their music videos.

Green Day is the bomb. They replaced Blink-182 whose hiatius created the way for Green Day. So Green Day is my answer. They're are hip-est punk rock band.

I like Green Day better because they sing a lot more about important things and their music ROCKS too!!!!!!!!! ;-)
Blink 182 aren't making any more music together so you kind of get sick of hearing the same music all the time knowing they won't make anything new

i simply love greenday cause their music reflects soooo much artistic flair and temprament. on the other hand blink 182 is a tough competitor, however at the end of the day i would say greenday has the upperhand. blink 182 lack that sense of absolutely unheard of lyrics and whole new genre of music.
theres just something about greenday....that you cant get enough of...if you know what i mean?....:P

is there a gun pointed at my head? i cant stand any blink 182, and as far as green day goes, have they put an album out after dookie?
green day used to kick major tucas, but they seem to have had their teeth ripped out when they decided to start singing about politics, id never buy any album that has anything to do with politics, unless green day changes their genre from whatever they are to political music.

I think Green Day has more versatility and frankly, talent. Blink is good, but their songs all seem to sound the same. I think there is no question who the more talented band is.

i've always loved greenday cause they really rock. not that blink182 dont rock but greendays music just kinda sounds better. its really hard to say but for some reason which i cannot explain i just feel greenday is better than blink 182. they sound better. Billie Joes voice lifts up the sound.
