Download iTunes on your computer, believe me, it's worth it! Then, when you are at the home page, look for a link that says"iMix". Click that, then type in "workout" or "running" in the search. There will be all sorts of mixes with songs that you can put on your iPod and get you going!

What type of music are you into?
Personally I would listen to something fast paced, preferably over 140 bpm, as this makes me run faster.
Hope this helps!

when i run, i like to have music whose beat times perfectly with my stride....so i've found, funnily enough that kenny loggin's highway to the dangerzone (from Top Gun) is good for me, as well as seven mary three's cumbersome, and system of a down's song called aerials...don't know how "uplifting" they are, but i dig em!!

Eye of the Tiger (Rocky soundtrack), You Owe Me an IOU (Hot Hot Heat), Let It Dive (...Trail of Dead), Tessie (Dropkick Murphies), Right Now (Van Halen) those are just the ones that I could think of for now.

Depends on what type of music you like to listen to. Personally I like Loud rock music to motivate me - Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Boston.
