It is according to the program that was used to download them to the cd. I had the same thing happen to me. My grandchildrens cd full of pics would not open up. I found out that the pics were burned with Nero and I couldnt get anything to come up and I do not have Nero. I found out that I have to unzip them one by one to open them and I am working on them right now at this moment to do so. This could be your problem.

I would love to know the answer too, because the same thing happened to me and that is my only source to those pics now. The stupid computer gouy wiped out the ones on my computer when he ceaned our computer, and I told him to save those. I have them on the cd but I just can't open mine. Please someone tell us why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
