I have read many studies about sex and longevity. From the most recent ones, It seems as though more sex can prolong life... for several reasons.

Being active is an integral part in a healty lifestyle, and sex is certainly activity.

The closeness of being in a relationship and having sex on a regular basis makes you emotionally healthy as well.. and it's very important to have positives in your life.

Also, there are many hormones released during sexual activity that ... almost wake up the body... so to say.
By the release of these wonderful chemicals, your body has a pleasant physical and emotional response that goes beyond the act.

I've also read something from a cardiologist regarding sex and age. When you are older, it is actually important to try remaining sexually active... to see if you are able to do so. If you experience heart related problems, etc.. you then can realize that you need care, or more care in this area.

Regarding not having sex until age 30, I'm conflicted on whether that would prolong life. It would absolutely prolong a healthy life since no sexually transmitted diseases were contracted during that time period.
Also, the person likely waited for a true connection with a person, and shared the intimacy in a wonderful way... instead of just trying to have sex for the sole purpose of having it.

I don't believe it would be detrimental to wait until your 30s to have sex, unless it bothers you emotionally.

Congratulations on your grandfather's child at age sixty. :)

Best wishes

I do not think the fact that he waited as long as he did added years to his life but given that he had a Child at sixty both the desire for sex and the desire to see his child grow up gave him an added reason for living and a new zeal or zest for life and therefore that determination to live to see his child grow up and the enjoyment of life in the older years certainly can add years to a persons life. The desire to live is a very important factor in prolonging life just as the desire not to live tends to mean a shortened life as some people just give up on life and they don't seem to live as long and happy.

Wow he did wait a long time for the right woman to show up I shouldn't feel so bad. It does not make any difference on how long you live though. But now days with AIDS and other things it may make a difference.

Thousands years ago the first emperor of China was obsessed in long living, he tried everything especially sex. But he died at his mid-50's.

To Chinese cultures these stories are true. I'm American, and I believe it.

SERAPHIM: The six-winged Seraphim are said to emanate such a bright light that not even other divinities can bear to gaze upon them; for this reason, they are also known as "the fiery ones" or "burning ones." Their duties consist of protecting, and caring for God's throne and singing His praise: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts. All the earth is filled with His Glory." you could call your angel Seraph

I hope I'm as active in my later years. I think it's probably a combination of healthy living and a certain level of activity (all inclusive)
