yes.......... two direct parental lineages from two different countries, and you live in America.... get birth certs of parents from both other countries, apply for "dual" citizenship... and hopefully a few months later the paperwork is processed and there you go...... I have two aunts that have done this...

It all depends, some countries allow you to have dual citizenship. For example if you were lets say a national of Chile and you were pregnant and on vacation in the US and you gave birth, your child is eligible for US citizenship, on the grounds that they were born on US soil. Now that child has dual citizenship, let's say that when they are older they move to another country and have lived there for a long time, they can apply for citizenship and get it, and then would have three nationalities. It is possible, I don't know if technically it is possible with the countries I mentioned, but I know it is possible. Also I think some people answering this question are getting confused as to the difference between ethnicity and nationality....

why not
1)Go and live there aqnd apply for nationality.
then get nationality after the required time. it is a long process

2)if u are a famous person then some countries can award u honourarary nationality.

Of course. It all depends of your parents. If one parent has dual citizenship, say in American and England and they other parent is German, the kid could claim citizenship to all 3 countries.
