I don't get it...I mean i thought Kathrine Macfee(excuse spelling) was a better singer, but i guess not.

I think Taylor was voted in as a winner by people who hate Am. Idol and wanted to make fun of it. It is the only explanation I can think of. Kathrine was a beauty with lots of talent and style.

Better? How? There is better in pop, but there is also better in Soul and R&B. Taylor was better in that style.
Also remember that according to the stats, the south does most of the voting on American Idol. Taylor is an Alabama son, so it does not surprise me.
But don't worry about Kat. In many respects, it is better for your career if you get second on AI. Hasn't done Clay any harm, has it?

I thought they both are great, but Taylor puts his whole body into what he sings. But still Kathrine is great also. Two different music types of singers.

Personaly, I think that Kathrine was better, but America probobly likes Taylor because hes different.
He isn't the average pesron that we would expect to be the American Idol

I think Katherine was a better singer also, but Taylor is cool in that he doesn't care what people think, he just looks like he is having a great time.
For the record: I don't know what People Magazine is thinking...the hottest bachelor.....NOT.

Because he is HOT and the man can sing!! Katherine is a GREAT singer, but America thought Taylor was better!

My husband loved him right from the beginning. I think it is because of his outgoing personality. He is a good singer but I think he was too in to oldy stuff and that foot movement he did.

i don't, I bsolutely hate taylor, he's not cute by any means, Katharine is so much pretier and a better singer, I think he won because a guy hadn't won for a few seasons
