I don't mean, should I invite a tuner, or not. My question is about accomplishing the work on my own.

I am not completely a new person to tuning. I don't have a "personal" instrument for tuning practice. But I tried this kind of work (not business) for some time, tuning some instruments. I have some experience in the field, but it would be nice to hear from different people, what their thoughts are! Thank you!

Yes, I have an absolute pitch.

Do you have a perfect pitch hearing? Otherwise, buy a tuning fork. You start with the middle "C" and go up (and down) the keys first by the octaves, then by fifths, by thirds, then by seconds and fourths.

But I would rather have a professional tuner do it --- that is, if you have an expensive brand new piano.

ok tuning a piano is a hard thing especially when you don't have perfect pitch. People who have that kind of ear are usually really hard to find. But I guess you could do it your self but they question is can you hear its going off key?
