Could someone briefly explain the scoring system to me and tell me if USA has a chance to advance? What makes a draw with Italy so exciting? It sounds like a boring game of nobody winning to me, but it obviously meant something important given the news headlines. Help me understand so I can be excited too! Thanks!

There is a chance. But I think not, because Italy is definitely advancing and I think the other two teams in the group makes a bigger chance.
The draw with Italy means that USA can still make a chance IF they win against Ghana and Italy wins against Czech, which makes them with the highest points in the group and the 2 highest teams advances.

yes they can advance, unfortunately. I think that chezc rerpublic has to lose to italy and they have to beat ghanna. Becasue if chezc republic losses they will ahev 3 points and if the usa beats ghana they will ahev 4 points. Top 2 teams advance
