My company is asking us to change our passwords every month or at least every 4 months starting this fall. It's a security thing. Perhaps this is why yours is changing.

This is an issue of fraud, where someone has an access to your password. I don't blame guys at rediff but may be your PC is infected. May be key logger on your PC. Run a spyware scan. Use Spybot, adaware, win defender. Alternatively run this online scan. Remember rediff never changes the password automatically. Their service is not setup in such a way.

Also for security reasons change your Answer security question, and other details by logging on to your rediff account.

not possible, u must be forgetting it again and again and then after clicking in 'forgot password' and completing all the formalities u are assigned new password by server.
a free site does not usually ask to change passwords too often
