They still use Crowns but will be in Euroland in a couple of years. Brilliant place full of nice people, the only rogues are taxi drivers. Make sure you agree a price before even getting in, they are robbers! Dont let this put you off...GO! you will not regret it.

The unit of Czech currency is the Czech Crown (CZK). Notes come in 5 000, 2 000, 1 000, 500, 200, 100, 50, 20 crown sizes, coins in 50, 20, 10, 5, 2, 1 crown sizes. Exchange rate is recently about USD 1 = CZK 25

It's the Czech crown. It is pretty cheap for many things ( public transport, eating out and beer particularly) but generally shopping is not a great expereince (stuff like clothes, shoes and CDs are not by any means cheap). Also hotel prices are starting to creep up...
