If you have an employee handbook, it could be found there. If not, check with your Human Resources department.
Denial of this information to you would be against the law as the Family Medical Leave Act is a Federal program, however, each company and state have a few rules that allow the companies NOT to provide this coverage in certain circumstances.. For instance, the biggest one that gets almost everyone is length of employment... you must be employed with the company for a certain amount of time before you are eligible for FMLA, average time is one year. Each company is different, make sure you inquire about this when you request the information..

specific he can. it particularly is in all likelihood no longer some thing i might have finished... Has his attendance been a situation earlier he went on leave? besides, sure he can, and he's additionally layed off (without reason) could his enterprise have desperate for the time of his absence that the organization particularly would not choose that place anymore and there are no modern-day positions open which your fiancee is qualified for. The Act facilitates you to take the leave, yet would not grant any NEW protections basically for taking the leave. i might recommend that your fiance purely return to artwork and carry out professionally and not omit from now on time then he easily desires. Making an argument together with his boss approximately this won't help him in any respect.

All you need to do is talk to your employer,
they cannot deny you that it would be against the law. Good Luck :-)
