Sounds like you have had a small virus or something. What I would suggest is to restore your computer to an earlier date where nothing like this has happened. This should take care of this problem.

try changing ur display modes perhaps or update the video driver and make sure u dont have too many tool bars going on ie; msn, google, mywebsearch, all that crap is useless and causes problems i would also rec. download yahoo tool bar for the antispy part of it

it could also be a spyware/adware problem or a virus...
Run your virus check and an adware/spyware remover, like ad-aware...
