I think that almost every myth has some foundation in fact. It just may not be in truth EXACTLY how we've heard it. Humans have a great ability to twist and change facts. And superstition can also greatly influence perception.

no the Greeks had a rich culture full of stories and tall tales because they had no TV. It was mostly told as entertainment and to give their kings and queens power to say they where sired by the gods.
Vampires are real only in the sense that there are people who ritually drink blood but not to stay alive.
Witches are pagan religion and they cast spells but they are mostly charms and blessings and their power is in the belief in the effectiveness of the blessing or charms.
Aliens, well who can say. I think the most effective evidence that there is intelligent life in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.

Why do you title your question "Greek theories? It's not Greek to me.
One by one, science is coming up with explanations for so many of the long-standing horror myths. The existence of Vampires and Zombies (the undead) have already been debunked.
Takes the fun out of believing in them.

I don't know whether stuff like that existed or not. But, I can tell you that in the modern world anything could be real!
All of us have heard about those things, so it's easier to say that anyone can make these things into life. Just like doctors that treat us, scientists that experiment things, engineers that invent things and so on.
It's up to us to find the answers. I'm searching for the answers too so welcome to the club!

i do believe in aliens because there are too many people providing experiences and views, i really dont know about the rest you are mentioning..i thought about it and to tell you the truth, i dont think that nature hasnt produced 'different' people. i read somewhere that nature is easily bored and tries to find ways to amuse herself..maybe someday all these phenomena will be explained..
