If all of these symptoms occur at the same time, your wife may be in dire trouble. Comfort her a short time and if the symptoms do not pass, take her to emergency.

Even if the symptoms come and go, she needs to be seen by a medical professional about this condition.

To treat dizziness, have her lie down with her legs above her heart. This returns more blood to the head. Treat her upset stomach with antacids. Her blood pressure may need to be controlled with medication.

Things she may be advised to eat are the opposite of all the things a person with hypertension is supposed to avoid, generally things with salt-sodium. Pretzels, pickles, soy sauce, additional salt on food, Salt tablets. She may be advised to avoid fruits, vegetables and lean protein.

Gatorade does contain sodium, but it won't treat her upset stomach or dizziness symptom.

You should read "The Blood Pressure Solution" (also available in electronic format, watch the video presentation here: http://www.fixbloodpressure.com ) It's a very comprehensive step-by-step book that walks you through the natural remedies of high blood pressure. It provides you with a lot of information on what foods to eat, how you can acquire and prepare these foods, how you can change your lifestyle for the better, how to eliminate the toxins from your body, how to reduce stress, how you can check your blood pressure level the correct way etc.

The book is amazing in that it not only lowers your blood pressure without the help of medications; it also aids you in having a life that is healthy, happier, and less stressful. This book chanced my life.

This is concerning to me...If her blood pressure is low and she is feeling weak and dizzy I think she needs intervention by going to the ER for car..Gatorade will not bring her blood pressure up and I am not sure what is going on but it may cause more harm than good.

Low blood pressure is common in pregnancy and can cause fainting. You should definately talk to your trained caregiver to be sure something else isn't going on. My friend had trouble with LBP and fainting. SHe had to take cooler baths/showers, make sure she ate well and often, and stood up slowly. She and the baby did just fine.

If she has low blood pressure she needs to go to a doctor. In the mean time, make sure she gets plenty of fluids and eats a balanced diet.
