AVG free home edition is one of the highest rated antiv,free,easy to use and accurate.

AVG is a great virus scanner. It is free. I will warn you however that if you are using regular dial-up internet the download can take up to 4 hours. Besides that it works wonderfully. I would actually recommend it over the virus scanners you buy from stores. It is better than my last virus scanner, Symantec.

Well AVG is a good one, Lavasoft is also acceptable. I have found that Avast works well. I loaded mine off of a peer sharing programn.

AVG by Grisoft I have found to be the best one so far. It finds viruses that the SBC yahoo one won't even find.

If you want to give open source a try, check out ClamAV. it runs on a variety of systems.
