Was married to a "good man" with "good morales"....but then he lied about our money....Why!?

Great person, but when confronted with his decision to end our marriage, I caught him in a lie about some "other" monies discovered. When confronted about it...he lied and said "it was spent a long time ago"...when in fact, I knew it was around just a few weeks ago. He had actually lied to me, and took the money for himself! When I confronted him with the fact that I KNEW he was lying, and that I had proof that he in fact was lying....he was completely surprised with the knowledge that I had. What happens to a man who turns this way? Did success do this to him? He was a "morally" incredible person in the beginning...can money really change people for the worse? How could he have even thought....that the money was all his....didn't he ever hear of "ours"??? Is there a man out there that could shed any light on this change in behavior - I am completely stumped! DID I LOVE A LIAR FOR FOR 21 YEARS???

At some point you seem to feel that he could never do a thing such as this, yet he did it. He did mislead you. You sound pretty angry about it too!

I think you are a better judge of what happened in him than any one else could be, man or woman. Work from both ends of the time in your marriage and you can probably pinpoint a period of time that this change in him occured. In that range of time ask yourself if there was any event that shook him up or changed him in some way. I think you can figure it out. If you really want to know, you can get the truth.

well... is he jewish??? nvm well for one maybe he seriously didn't have any while he was younger and wants to see how it feels with the power of buying whateva he wants with it im not saying its a good thing im just saying maybe he is not used to the fact of having the money
