yeah don't do anything to make it angry or scare it, because it will end up spraying you and your house, and you really don't want that. you can buy fox urine, works great as a pest deterrent, especially for skunks and groundhogs.

Oh we've had that happen quite a few times. I live in south Texas and skunks like to occasionally make homes beneath our decks, etc. A cheap way to get rid of them is to put moth balls under the deck, house, whatever. Yes, moth balls smell funny, and that is why the skunk will run away. Contrary to popular belief, a skunk does not like a bad smell. Its a fairly cheap solution to a problem that could end up costing you quite a lot of money. I DO NOT suggest feeding it. It is essentially the same as feeding raccoons. If you start feeding one, then others come around, and pretty soon, you will have dozens to deal with.

I would call animal control. From what I recall, I think that skunks can be gased to fall asleep or to the point that they die. Of course, this is your house so you definitely need a professional to help you deal with this. Start searching the yellow pages I suggest.

Spray him with a hose.
or...Call animal control.
or...Buy a trap, but be careful if he goes in it because he will start spraying. Just throw a blanket over the cage.
or...I'd have to say kill it. Just use poison and he will die a peaceful death.

FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE.STINK IT OUT!HOW ?USE A SMOKE BOMB OR SOME OTHER IRRITANT. HOSE IT OUT IF YOU CAN. USE FOOD TO LURE IT OUT. ONCE HE'S OUT OPEN THE VENTILATION ON THE SIDES OF THE HOUSE.THEY'RE THERE TO KEEP THE HOUSE FROM ROTTING & CLOSE UP DURING THE WINTER TO KEEP THE CHILLED AIR OUT. CHECK THE SCREENS TO MAKE SURE THAT'S NOT HOW HW GOT IN!!!BUT WITHOUT GOING TO EXTREMES CALL APROFESSIONAL. THEY CAN REMOVE HIM WITHOUT INJURING THEMSELVES OR YOU OR THE HOUSE. GOODLUCK
