They are skanks. That's why those tattoos are knows as tramp stamps.

I have heard the phrase tramp stamp, but I myself got the tattoo on my lower back b/c I heard that the skin does not stretch there even after years and years. I have a tattoo on my back for the same reason I have a tattoo on my foot. I can hide it while at my professional job but show it when laying out or at the beach. It is a way of expression not because we are tramps or sluts.

...most girls in college get tattoos on their lower back. It's just a thing. The stigma of them being "tramps" is a thing of the past. Tattoo is, after all, ancient.

This is a big turn on, for a lot of men, you can't see the whole tattoo while she is dressed usually, but it makes you want to see more.
But saying that I have just seen a big fat woman in town this lunchtime, with a tat saying "doggy style", on her lower back, this has just put pays to my above theory!!!!

Hmmm...maybe because they wanted tattoos on their lower back. Saying they are all skanks and hos is just as stereotypical as say anything about any other group. I happen to like them if they are unique...not the cliched tribal or butterfly.

It's called a tramp stamp.
I guess there are only so many places to put a tattoo, and that's one where it can complement super-low-rise jeans. Once a celebrity does it, everyone who wants to be a celebrity will do it, too.

Yes i know what you mean. They just want to fit in, cause they can't even see it themselves.. so i don't understand why they want something they can't even see.
