cc; I've left crouch out for two reasons; First he's on a yellow and there's no sense in risking him picking up a one game ban. Also whilst I rate him, I also beliece he does encourage the long ball ga,e a little. Rooney will give Owen the service he's been seeking and hopefully he can bag a few and get his spark back. I do see your points though :)

The Dub. I agree with you; I firmly believe that Beckham is in the squad solely for financial and political reasons. Its the same reason that he won't go out on the right; he is no longer wants to take people on as he lacks pace and skill. He cuts in becase he seems to wants to be involved in every play, regardless of whether that is the right thing to do or not. If England continue to perform poorly, I believe the fault will be Erikssons insistence on playing Beckham

Beckham is the most overrated player in football. Rio is piss poor.Crouch is the sorriest excuse for a football player i have ever seen,rooney is a thug,Owen is past it,Lennon is an unknown,the coles are average,Robinson is ok,Carragher isnt england class,gerrard,lampard,terry and rooney are the only players who i rate.
