I've been having all kinds of problems with my computer and my Internet connection, these last months.Once,I couldn't work or write or communicate for almost five days.Yesterday, this happened again and I was without Internet for more than 14 hours. With a lot of work to do and friends waiting for me to answer to their messages,I couldn't be more frustrated!

I find it difficult to distract my mind and do something else,in these situations. How is this, for you? How do you deal? Any ideas that might help me?

Thank you for sharing!:)

I'm asking about frustration in all aspects of life, not only about computers.;)

But I agree that they can drive us crazy!:)

I actually can let myself get overly affected by frustration at times, unfortunately. The older I get, the more I try to chill out about most things, but I can still find myself getting frustrated easily about some things. I'm fortunately married to a man, who rarely gets frustrated by ANYTHING, so he is usually able to talk me out of most any frustrations that I may be having. He can easily distract me from my frustrations most of the time. We seem to somehow balance each other out most of the time, even though we tend to be opposites in many areas, lol. :)

Here's a quick way to get rid of that frustration. Open your mind and shout out the baddest word you can think of. Then another, then one more, and again and again and again... You can even use word combos (when you're alone, of course). Let the furstration flow freely, don't keep it repressed. Keep doing it till you feel you've gone a bit over the edge and are over-reacting. The feeling of guilt and some sensibility will seep in soon enough and you'll begin to feel that it wasn't such a big deal, and hopefully, you'll calm down. (Works for me all the time.)

I know it sounds a little cliche, but i just think of happy things. haha Think about a friend that always makes you laugh, a friend you always have a good time with, sports, or listen to a good CD.
Maybe it doesn't work for anybody else, but i always do this and my friends always say i'm the only person they've never seen mad. Oh well hope it helps.

I go absolutely CRAZY when my computer doesn't work right and my whole house suffers when it does because my kids usually f*ck it up. I get on tech support when I can't fix it myself. My life isn't right when my computer is down.
