Yeah, they will start the game with 11 players just like Ghana
but Pablo Mastreoni and Eddy Pope cannot play because they have a red card instead two other players will have to play for them

Yes. All games start with 11 players. Red-carded players miss only one game and will be replaced by others for the missed game, against Ghana in this case.

The vs. Italy game was great to watch, albeit that USA should have won hands down (there was a goal made but not counted because the blind ref called offsides when clearly the player was on the right side....). I could argue this all day long.
To answer your question, no. They will be forced to play with 9 players. I am pretty sure that is what the commentaries said.

I know you're just joking, but seriously, do you really think Obama would wage war on Ghana? He doesn't even like us fighting our real enemies. Actually no one really cares much about soccer in the US. I guess Obama is off playing golf again. (Is that all he does now?) Bill Clinton was there, but he'd rather sexually harass the players' wives than wage war against Ghana. Ha ha. What's scary is that if Ghana loses the players may be executed by their government.

The squad size is 23 so take away the two red card players and u still have 21 to pick your 11 from.

Yes, USA will start with 11 players......but i honestly dont think that this will help them.......Ghana is a pretty serious team....plus USA lost to CZE 0-3 but in comparison Ghana won their game vs. CZE 2-0 so pretty much USA has to play smart has to learn to open up the field and change their players cause they keep depending on those big names which so far have given no results.

They will start with 11 but some of those who answered this question don't start with 52 cards in a deck. No wonder the rest of the world thinks Americans are ignorant when it comes to football. They really are!!

I love your question, I am still smiling. You got your answer. One more thing: Mastroeni will have to sit up two games, because he was red carded. Pope only one, because he got out with two yellow cards. Keep enjoying the game, is wonderful to watch and to play.
