At the Finals or Qualifying?
Finals I believe was Hungary v El Salvador, think it was 10-1 or something outrageous like that.
In Qualifying, Australia beat someone 31-0 or about that.

Hungary has tallied the most goals in a single World Cup when they scored 27 in 1954. In the 1954 World Cup Austria beat Switzerland 7-5 for the most goals (12) combined in a World Cup match. Hungary beat El Salvador in 1982, 10-1 for the highest goal differential in a World Cup match (Hungary is also the only team to score 10 or more goals in a World Cup).

I don't know. I think it was the very first one that was played this year. so if I knew that one I would be giving you the stats. sorry I can't recall and I am lazy to look up. ok I tried to look it up but I don't know where to start, so I am sticking to my guns and saying it was done in 2006 the first day they played.
oh man I hope the World Cup isn't the last game played, but I am gonna still say this year.
